This year the upcoming SMLMS 2024 symposium, a prestigious gathering of leading scientists and researchers in the field of single-molecule localization microscopy and advanced super-resolution imaging technologies, celebrates the 10th anniversary of groundbreaking advancements since the Nobel Prize was awarded for developing super-resolved fluorescence microscopy. National Microscopy Infrastructure

NMI is the Swedish infrastructure for advanced microscopy in life science. NMI is supported from the Swedish Research Council and cofinanced from the participating Universities, KTH – Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm University, Umeå University, Uppsala University and University of Gothenburg.

The mission of NMI is to provide the life science research community with access to unique competence and instrumentation in microscopy. NMI also coordinate national and international knowledge exchange in microscopy and is the Swedish node in the European Infrastructure – EuroBioimaging.
